Alison is a friend of the program who, in conjunction with her masters' degree, conducted insightful research into the factors that impact the post-college outcomes of Usap students.
Alison has spent over seven years working in the fields of college admissions and college advising. She has worked as a college counselor at both the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, IL and Highland Park High School in Highland Park, IL. Prior to that, she served as the Director of International Admissions for the undergraduate college of the University of Chicago, recruiting prospective students and evaluating applications from all over the world. As part of her responsibilities at Chicago, she ran the international financial aid and scholarship competitions that provided funding to highly talented, financially needy admitted international students. She holds an MSEd in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University and a BA from Amherst College. She currently resides in London.
